Welcome to Anchorage,
Alaska Hub Manager
Welcome to Alaska.... welcome to Altair's Anchorage Dawg Pound, proud members of the cargo delivery arm of Altair VA.This is the Land of the Midnight Sun, superb majestic scenery, enchanting natural beauty and some say the most demanding flying anywhere on Earth. This is the last jumping point for the majority of the world air cargo from the Americas to the Orient, as well as for many destinations in the interior arctic tundra. Come on in, warm yourself by the fire, have a shot of spirits, find a comfortable lounge chair to park it for a while and feel yourself at home, ol' friend.

PANC TOP DAWG
Bernard Shuford Due to the fact that I don't recall updating this page section in the last two months, I took it upon myself to add up all the hours during the months of April and May and this way determine who should get the Top Dawg award. At 29.5 hours logged, the prize goes to our illustrious Instructor Captain Shuford. He managed to squeeze by Captain Carr with a small margin by logging numerous instances in which he would just sit in the pilots seat, start one engine and then shut her down, not going anywhere. Nice move Nard, but I'm onto you now. Congratulations, keep up the Spirit. Newest Pup Our latest addition to the PANC DAWG Pound ALT2141 Brandon Heuser Sunday MP Session

MP Sessions Every Wednesday and Friday at 1900 ZULU/UTC, a group of Altair pilots get together
and enjoy a couple hours of flying online together and some friendly banter. Sunday
is reserved for the DAWG pound at 2000 ZULU/UTC Tuesday is reserved for flying on a private server, so this is perfect for the newbie's
of Altair or those pilots that are hesitant to fly online via VATSIM, IVAO, or
FPI. No special software is required for multiplayer sessions, just the ability
to control your aircraft, and follow simple ATC rules, so why not give it a try,
most flights give you the opportunity to connect later, or leave early along the
route, so, mail me for connection details. Friday is reserved for flying on VATSIM. This is recommended for those pilots that
are familiar with online flying within VATSIM, but newbie's are also welcome. Saturday Stuart ALT2396 puts on a cool flight titled "Anyone for Tennis" every Saturday. Check out the details on Charlie's. Leon ALT2016 also hosts
his scenic Aussie MP sessions on Saturday, again check Charlie's for details. Sunday is a DAWG's world as its reserved just for you. 2000 ZULU/UTC is the magic time
to crank them engines and embark on a journey to no-man's land with your Altair
brothers. The flight is on a private server so you can do those dawg things that
you know you want to do. Ongoing Events Have an Idea for an Event? Have an idea for a great flight, let our very own Events Director know. Email
