A NEW ERA . . .
"Altair Global Logistics" brings the world closer together, delivering time sensitive
air freight anywhere in the world as the "Anything, Anywhere, Anytime" carrier
of choice.
Its headquarters and main hub is located in Memphis Tennessee, the world's largest
Air Cargo facility. AGL has initially established a presence at the 30 top Cargo
destinations in the world fully staffed with logistical and sales personnel offering
our clients a complete range of air cargo services. To provide those services,
besides our KMEM facility other hubs were set in South America (SBKP in Campinas,
Brazil), Europe (EDDF in Frankfurt, Germany)and in Alaska (PANC in Anchorage),
this last one with a strong focus in bush flying.
THE FLIGHT CREW . . .
AGL utilizes, at this time, 24 well seasoned pilots and promising crews transferred
from other Altair passenger hubs, which not only better utilizes resources and
reduce operating costs and improve consolidated margins but provide a challenging career path for those interested in a much more "adventurous" flights assignments and exciting
destinations.
THE FLEET . . .
The AGL Fleet consists of a variety of aircraft ranging from short to long haul
transports providing an economy of scale and cost efficient transport transport
for our clients. Currently the Logistics Fleet consists of 14 aircraft models,
and it will continuously be adjusted as time passes and our global needs are better
identified. The latest addition to the fleet has been the Maule M-7-260 a small
workhorse specially apt for the challenging missions of bush flying.
